What exactly does Google consider web Spam? Webmasters everywhere worry in the back of their minds that they might have done something to upset the Mighty Big G.
Well… worry no more. Google has an official page where they give 50 live examples of webpages deindexed from the search results. That's right! These are the real pages that received Google penalties just now.
It's interesting to actually see what they've been banning from the search results. In my 16 years of building Internet businesses, I see many strategies on this page that used to work “back in the day”, but obviously just don't work anymore. Any strategy that's designed to churn out completely automated content or just regurgitate junk to get free traffic – is a VERY short term strategy today. (if it works at all)
