There are essentially five reasons why any one MLM venture succeeds where ten more just like it fail miserably. We’re going to delve into those five reasons right now. We’re also going to look at why most multi level marketing businesses fail to utilize these five things, and how they can turn it all around starting right now.
1. Attitude Sells
Multi level marketing only works when everyone involved with the venture feels on top of the world. MLM success stories are usually those people who jump out of bed first thing in the morning, excited beyond belief for what’s to come. They can’t wait to call prospects and answer customer questions, as that’s what keeps the money rolling in.
Why Most Get It Wrong: Most MLM practitioners treat multi level marketing like any other job, where people are used to complaining about their day. You can’t afford to have a case of the Mondays when you work in multi level marketing. If your attitude could use some tweaking, that puss on your face could be holding you back. You must smile and project a healthy attitude everywhere you go if you hope to succeed with MLM.
2. The Product or Service Sells Itself
Multi level marketing is so much easier when you have a product that actually provides value to the intended audience. If you’re selling crap and you don’t feel good about it, how are you ever going to convince others to buy the crap that you’re offering?
If you are currently selling a product or service that you don’t believe in, switch it for another or change MLM opportunities altogether. There are plenty of quality opportunities out there selling all sorts of products and services in virtually all industries. If you can’t seem to sleep at night because you feel like you’re ripping others off, it’s no wonder your multi level marketing venture is struggling. Find something that makes you feel good to offer your customers and that actually enriches their lives if you hope to find your true MLM calling.
3. The Team Consists of Only Strong Links
The successful multi level marketer knows that he can’t afford to recruit slackers, lazy people or people with bad attitudes. Only the smartest, most ambitious business people will do. Does this mean that the successful MLM practitioner often turns away new recruits? You’d better believe it. In fact, the true professional only chooses the very best candidate out of every ten recruits, and sometimes the ratio is more like one in twenty. The point is, if you have weak people on your team, your venture could come crumbling down around you. Bad attitudes are contagious and so is laziness. Recruit the best-of-the-best and you’re bound to go far.
4. The Team Continues to Reach for the Top
The consummate professional knows that he can’t afford to sleep on the job. Every day becomes a struggle to beat the results yielded the day, week and even the entire year before. Walk into many brick-and-mortar businesses and you’ll typically see workers, managers and even business owners who sit down on the job, they usually don’t try very hard and they’re generally just trying to get through their days while watching the clock until it’s time to go home.
If you are currently resting on your laurels, or, worse, you’re resisting improving your MLM business altogether out of some strange fear of change, it’s time to change your thinking completely. Every morning as soon as you wake up start thinking, “How can I do better than yesterday?” If you can manage to do that every single morning, and you actually follow through and answer your question, you’ll more than likely succeed at turning your failures into massive success stories.
5. The Team Recruits Like It’s Going Out of Style
Multi level marketing businesses thrive on the recruiting process. It’s all about building teams. A team may consist of individual members, but each of those members stays busy building their own teams. And so the process continues, or at least that’s the way things are supposed to go.
The fact is, many MLM practitioners fail to recruit. They either feel timid approaching total strangers or even warm leads; they may possess an unsubstantiated fear of success or failure, and some merely focus on selling the product or service at the end of the day and merely forget about the need to recruit.
If you don’t build your team, and I mean massive team, that consists of strong individuals who have a burning desire to succeed, you will have a much harder time achieving financial independence like the opportunity promises.
Recruit often, be selective about who you recruit and always keep your eye on the prize. The prize, of course, is MLM domination. Follow the tips in this guide, never become complacent and you’ll effectively grease the skids on your path to success.
