Chances are, you're smart.
Most entrepreneurs, and aspiring entrepreneurs, are usually the kind of people who are above average when it comes to intelligence.
But business smarts sometimes fall under the “street smarts” umbrella.
Being highly educated, or incredibly good at advanced mathematics, doesn't always translate into entrepreneurial success.
Smart people tend to know that they're smart.
It's something people usually point out. And you may even have any Ivy League degree to prove it.
But this can put you at a disadvantage in an unexpected way: you might overestimate your own knowledge and skill when it comes to running a business, specifically.
A brilliant neurosurgeon could fail epically at trying to run his own business.
They're two totally different skill sets.
Even an MBA or a marketing degree doesn't guarantee that you have the right kind of business savvy to make it as a business owner.
