Kate Lynch is a serious entrepreneur and a well-known name in the world of tech startups.
Her LinkedIn page describes her as “Entrepreneur. Investor. Superhero.”
Her latest project, in conjunction with her husband, is in the education tech space, and will launch this Spring. She and her team have been demoing it in Chicago schools.
It's called Codeverse, and it's designed to help teach kids how to code.
In our increasingly tech-centric world, coding is quickly moving from a geeky niche occupation, to something where almost everyone should at least have a basic understanding.
Being able to code will continue to be a major asset. And like many things in life, it's easiest to learn if you start young.
But despite the incredible promise of Codeverse, and her previous history of successes, things haven't always been easy for Katy. Like all entrepreneurs, she's seen her fair share of failures.
According to Katy, the biggest lesson she's learned in her career is that entrepreneurship is a battle.
But when you emerge victorious, there's nothing like it in the world.
In this video, she talks about exactly how entrepreneurship can be a battle, and how you can persevere in the face of adversity. You're faced with frequent setbacks that require you to cultivate resilience and to know your own set of personal values. You can check out the full video below.
